Movie Plot
Meet Venkateswarlu, fondly known as Venky, a spirited young guy from Vizag who doesn’t always follow the straight path. After a string of unsuccessful job hunts, Venky and his buddies Suri, Ramana, and Bujji get a lucky break when they pass a police recruitment test and are chosen for SI training. Their journey takes them on the Godavari Express to Hyderabad for their training adventure.
While on the train, Venky’s heart takes a leap when he meets Sravani. He falls head over heels for her and decides to propose, but unfortunately, she turns him down pretty bluntly. Feeling frustrated, Venky, under the influence of alcohol, makes an outrageous threat involving Sravani’s father and another passenger. Shockingly, both these people are found dead the following morning.
In a rush, Venky and his pals flee the scene. Thinking that the police academy is their best bet for safety, they quickly join the training program. The academy is headed by the strict Yogendra Kumar Sharma, who’s also friends with ACP Bharath, assigned to investigate the train deaths. To avoid scrutiny, our friends sneak into Sharma’s office at night to fiddle with their arrival date, only to stumble upon shocking news—that Sharma is involved in the murders! They learn that Sharma is after a camera that belonged to Prasad Rao, Sravani’s dad, and that Sravani might be in danger too. Venky takes charge, protecting Sravani by hiding her in an old building on the academy grounds.
Later on, they get wind that Bharath has seized Venky’s camera as evidence, and its reel is at the development studio. Quick thinking leads them to the studio, where they get their hands on the photos. This is when Venky discovers something surprising about a person named Gajala, who pretended to be a software engineer but is actually a thief. Following leads, they chase down Gajala to find out about the camera, only to be fed a lie that it’s already sold.
Sharma gets wind that Venky and gang are onto him. He goes public with their names and applies pressure on their parents, hoping they’ll surrender. He also tracks down Sravani’s hideout, leading to a dangerous encounter. But don’t worry, Sravani manages to escape.
Venky eventually strikes a deal with Sharma to trade Prasad Rao’s camera, but that deal goes awry. Gajala steps in, offering a deal to Sharma in exchange for the camera, but Venky outsmarts him and gets his hands on the camera. With the camera’s contents, they uncover a shocking truth—Prasad Rao had captured evidence of Sharma murdering a senior officer named Sarath Kumar IPS. Prasad Rao had inadvertently called Sharma to report the crime, setting off a chain of events.
Without realizing that Sharma had visited their home, Prasad Rao gave away their train berth numbers. Sharma sends his hitman after them, leading to a tragic incident where Prasad Rao and another passenger are killed. Determined not to let the camera fall into the wrong hands, Venky fights off Sharma’s goons. Sravani seeks an audience with the Governor to present the camera as evidence directly.
As the climax unfolds, Sharma tries to take drastic action, but he’s caught red-handed in front of the Governor. Venky and his pals are recognized for their immense courage and awarded medals as a token of appreciation for their brave journey.
