Meet Pattabhiraman Giri, a friendly Malayali Brahmin teacher residing in North India. He’s in a bit of a pickle as Mahashay Bhagavan, a self-proclaimed godman, asks him to pack up his home sweet home. Why? Well, this godman wants to construct his ashram and take over the surroundings for his land business. Now, Giri’s house is no ordinary house – it was built ages ago by followers of Adi Shankara and is steeped in history. A fun fact: Giri’s ancestors were connected to this house through a Chola king back in the day. And guess what? This house has a super-cool well that provides water all year round to the entire village. Talk about community vibes!

Giri lives with his lovely wife, Amba, and their daughter Arya. He’s not your average Joe; he’s a wise Sanskrit teacher and a well-respected pandit in the area.

Hold on, things get interesting! Giri gets a mysterious heads-up from an unknown dude about the mess he might be getting into by challenging the godman. But our hero isn’t one to back down. He’s told to look towards a fire on a hill if he needs help – cool, right? Trouble brews when the godman resorts to dirty tricks, like poisoning Giri’s daughter Arya. Tragically, Arya passes away, and to make matters worse, Giri’s pals and supporters switch teams and join the godman’s side, swayed by his fake tricks.

The godman and his gang pay Giri a creepy nighttime visit, ordering him to scram. Giri, being the brave soul he is, challenges them. He throws down a challenge – whoever dares to harm a Brahmin can take over his land. But after numerous attempts, the godman’s gang throws in the towel and bolts. Giri and his home even survive an attack by gun-wielding goons. Believe it or not, the godman claims the attack was orchestrated by Maoists, and poor Giri is barred from entering his own house!

Our hero’s determined, though. He heads up the hill in search of the mystery man who gave him that heads-up. Guess what? He finds out the man is Azlan Muhammed, who used to live in Mumbai.

Meet Azlan – he’s a respected priest who’s got zero tolerance for violence in his community. He’s even married to a Hindu woman named Parineeti Adve and used to lead a happy life helping his people. But Azlan’s world takes a heartbreaking turn when his sister Jameela is assaulted by a goon with a rich dad. The goon attacks Jameela and her boyfriend Jameel on the streets, and Azlan ends up killing him in a bid to protect his sister. A greedy guy named Ramnath Gujjan promises to take down Azlan and bring his head. With blessings from his “Babaji,” who’s none other than Mahashay Bhagavan, Gujjan stages an attack on Azlan’s group at night. Tragically, Azlan’s sister, wife, and daughter are killed while protecting him. However, Azlan miraculously survives thanks to a heart anomaly, and he decides to leave his land behind, not knowing where he’s headed.

Azlan ends up in a desert, exhausted and unconscious. Guess who comes to the rescue? A group of yogis who shun worldly pleasures. They save Azlan and embark on a journey of wisdom and life values. Azlan transforms into a sort of spiritual superhero, sticking around to fulfill his purpose in life, which is all about righteousness (dharma).

Back to Giri – a mother rushes into Mahashay Bhagavan’s ashram with her daughter’s lifeless body. She fed her child with whatever the godman gave her, ignoring doctors’ advice. She pleads for help, and Giri, who’s been camping outside the ashram to meet the godman, springs into action. He touches the girl’s body, and miraculously, she comes back to life! People start believing in Giri and flock to him for blessings. This doesn’t sit well with Mahashay Bhagavan, who’s now losing his mojo.

The godman’s gang attacks Giri, and guess who steps in to save the day? Azlan, of course! Giri unleashes his inner superhero and takes on the gang single-handedly. He’s amazed by his own newfound powers and undergoes a personal transformation.

Meanwhile, the godman decides to put on a show of his powers for his followers. He challenges Giri to do the same, but things don’t go as planned. The godman gets a spooky vision of Azlan, which leaves him powerless and unable to perform his fake magic tricks. In a twist of fate, the godman meets his end in a stampede he inadvertently triggers, paying for his own misdeeds.

Remember those dreams Azlan and Giri were having? They were about an ancient war. Turns out, in a past life, they were pals who had each other’s backs during the battle.

And there you have it – a tale of bravery, friendship, and standing up for what’s right!
