Idiot Movie Plot
Bhaskar Rao, popularly known as Chantigadu, is the son of Venkata Swamy, a dedicated head constable. Chanti lives life with a carefree spirit, but his world changes when he encounters a group of rivals who attack him at night. A young woman named Suchitra comes to his rescue, paying for his hospital bills and even donating her own blood. By the time Chanti regains consciousness, Suchi has left the hospital. However, he is captivated by her kindness and falls in love with her without even seeing her face. Little does he know, Suchi is the daughter of Vipra Narayana, the city’s police commissioner.
Chanti’s first face-to-face meeting with Suchi takes place in college, where he openly confesses his love for her. When she rejects his advances, he resorts to teasing her. Frustrated by his behavior, Suchi complains to her father, leading to Chanti being dragged to the police station where he is brutally beaten. Chanti’s father and fellow constables intervene to save him, but the beating only strengthens his resolve to win Suchi’s heart. He persists in his pursuit and proposes to her once more at the college. Suchi challenges him to prove his love by leaping from a building, and when he agrees, she concedes to his affections.
Yet, their love story faces several hurdles. Narayana disapproves of their relationship and plots with goons to harm Chanti, even attempting to amputate his leg. When Suchi learns of Narayana’s sinister plans, she rushes to Chanti’s aid but meets with an accident in the process. Both find themselves in the same hospital, ultimately reuniting despite the adversities. Narayana goes to extreme lengths, arranging a marriage for Suchi with another man against her wishes, prompting her to contemplate suicide. Chanti swoops in to save her once more, but Narayana remains determined to control her fate.
Undeterred, Chanti manages to escape these dire situations and seeks help from the Director General of Police (DGP) to secure his love. With the DGP’s intervention, Narayana faces suspension, and Chanti’s determination pays off as their wedding is arranged in the police station. As their love triumphs, Chanti goes on to pursue a career in civil services, successfully achieving his goal of becoming an IPS officer.
