Forensic Movie Plot
In a small town, a curious young boy had a peculiar secret – he collected organs from animals in jars beneath his bed, all of which he smuggled from his father’s meat shop. When his father discovered this macabre collection, he responded with anger and violence. Years passed, and the boy grew into a man. Fuelled by an escalating hatred towards his abusive father, he committed a heinous act that would change the course of his life forever – he killed his own father.
Parallelly, ACP Rithika Xavier was grappling with a disturbing case. Two little girls had been abducted and murdered in quick succession, sending shockwaves through the town. The nature of the crime pointed towards a serial killer, yet no motive could be discerned. Determined to solve the mystery, Rithika requested the assistance of a forensic team. However, a twist of fate brought her face to face with Samuel Kattookkaaran, a forensic specialist and the younger brother of her estranged husband Xavier.
Their collaboration started off rocky, with past grievances weighing heavily on their interactions. The pain of their own history added layers of complexity to their partnership. It was revealed that their marriage had crumbled following the loss of one of their children, an incident that had severed their bond. Now, their only surviving child, Nayana, was seeking solace from a psychologist named Dr. Alphonse Kurien.
As the investigation progressed, Samuel offered an intriguing theory – the killer might be a child. This hypothesis was rooted in the killer’s ability to maneuver through tight spaces, like a 4-foot tunnel. Rithika, initially skeptical, eventually had to concede that the evidence was mounting in support of Samuel’s theory. An eyewitness confirmed that a little boy had been seen discarding a body. This unsettling realization pushed them closer to the truth, despite the unsettling implications.
As more victims emerged, the police released a sketch of the suspected child killer. Dr. Alphonse revealed that the sketch resembled Reuben Elias, a juvenile inmate he had counseled. Dr. Jayakumar Menon, another expert, corroborated that Reuben had exhibited psychopathic tendencies and had recently escaped from his care. Another piece of the puzzle came from Abdul Wahab, a retired SP, who offered a DNA sample for testing, inadvertently resurfacing an unsolved serial murder case from Rithika’s past.
Years prior, three young girls from Burma Colony had been brutally murdered in quick succession, with the body of another victim discovered in a school bus. Ubaid Ahmed, a bus driver, had been arrested, but was later cleared when another murder occurred while he was in custody. The case had gone cold, with the killings ceasing abruptly. Abdul Wahab believed that the Burma Colony killer was still at large and revealed that he had employed Ubaid as his driver in retirement. The mystery deepened when yet another child was abducted from a hospital under the noses of the police.
Samuel’s keen insights led him to uncover a clever ruse involving a candy wrapper, raising even more questions. He theorized that there might be a second personality at play – a mastermind behind the child killer. Shikha, an intern, discovered that the DNA from the candy wrapper matched that of the Burma Colony murderer from a decade earlier. This revelation highlighted the complexity of the case, while the pressure to capture Reuben intensified.
In pursuit of leads, Samuel teamed up with Shikha and Abdul Wahab to investigate the area where the Burma Colony victims had been buried. Using ground-penetrating radars, they uncovered a chilling find – five skeletons, including one adult and four children. This gruesome discovery cast a darker shadow over the investigation.
The search for answers took them to examine the DNA of medical and police personnel present during the most recent abduction. However, DNA evidence failed to link Reuben to the crime. Rithika ultimately apprehended Reuben, but his disturbing confession held a sinister twist. Samuel realized that Reuben had been responding to instructions transmitted via his hearing aid. The puppeteer behind the scenes, presumably the mastermind, had been orchestrating the chaos.
Reuben took his own life, leaving a trail of questions and unexplored motives. Rithika found herself under scrutiny for Reuben’s death while struggling to support her daughter Nayana. Samuel convinced her to let Nayana spend time with Xavier’s family. During this period, a crucial clue emerged – a blue Honda Civic was seen near the station premises around the time of Reuben’s death.
Samuel’s pursuit of the truth led him to the dark, dangerous underbelly of the case. He was kidnapped by Ubaid, whose intentions were shrouded in madness and vengeance. As tensions escalated, another abduction rocked the team – the daughter of a team member was taken. The mounting evidence indicated that they had been on the wrong track, pushing them to track the victim’s mobile phone.
In a forest, Samuel faced off against the deranged Ubaid, who taunted him with disturbing revelations. Ubaid unveiled a shocking plan to frame Nayana as a serial killer, seeking revenge for his own life’s downfall. The revelation that Nayana’s twin, Navya, was alive, further complicated the already intricate puzzle. It became a race against time to save Navya.
Ubaid met a gruesome end, leading to a confrontation that revealed the mastermind’s identity – Dr. Alphonse Kurien, the very man who had been counseling Nayana. A heart-wrenching flashback unveiled his twisted motives – the death of his wife, his son’s illness, and a descent into madness that led him to commit heinous acts.
The finale saw Rithika and Xavier rescuing Navya, and Samuel confronting Dr. Alphonse in a deadly confrontation. The truth came to light, and justice was served, but not without scars. The story concluded with the team picking up the pieces of their lives, resolving their pasts, and finally seeking solace and closure.
