“Eduruleni Manishi” is a 2001 Indian Telugu-language action drama film that was brought to life through the production efforts of D. Siva Prasad Reddy under the banner of Kamakshi Movies. Eduruleni Manishi Movie Plot
Surya Murthy holds a position of immense respect in his village, except for Nazar, who is often up to no good. Residing with his grandparents and a young girl named Rani, Surya Murthy has a youthful-looking brother named Satyamurthy, or Sathya, who’s pursuing computer science engineering in Hyderabad. Satya, who is in a relationship with Sri, faces a new concern when he learns that his elder brother has decided never to marry. Determined to find a suitable bride for Surya Murthy, Satya encounters Vasundhara at a temple and becomes convinced that she’s the right match. He approaches Vasundhara with a proposal for his brother’s hand in marriage.
In time, Vasundhara witnesses Surya Murthy’s heroic and virtuous nature during a visit to Hyderabad. It’s revealed that Surya Murthy and Satya are the younger siblings of the man who married Vasundhara’s sister, Bhavani. Vasundhara comes to believe that Surya Murthy was responsible for their family’s hardships, including her husband’s demise due to alcohol-related issues compounded by various problems. She also learns that Surya Murthy took Rani away from her after her husband’s death. Fueled by this revelation, Vasundhara marries Surya Murthy with a plan for revenge, intending to gradually dismantle the entire family. Satya is unaware of her intentions.
Under the guise of a charade, Vasundhara moves to Satya’s village, creating scenarios where she saves Rani from danger. With pleas from family members and Rani, Surya Murthy agrees to marry Vasundhara. However, Vasundhara’s initial action as his wife is to delay their first night together by 22 days by bribing a priest. She then transfers valuables to her sister’s home with the help of a petty thief, who later escapes with the stolen items, leading to his arrest. Upon realizing Vasundhara’s true motives and Bhavani’s character flaws, Satya explains the past to her. The thief’s interrogation puts Satya in a tricky position, leading to a split between the brothers.
The remainder of the film follows the journey of their reconciliation and their mission to defeat the villainous gang.
